We're excited to announce a new enhancement that enables seamless integration of imaging documents from Athena and Elation into Fold. This update simplifies the workflow for practice users, allowing them to efficiently review and document patient results directly within Fold.
How It Works
1. Imaging results from Athena and Elation will appear on Fold in the provider web (under Recent Clinical Events - New Reports) and in the patient web and native apps (under Clinical Profile - Imaging Results).
2. Both structured and unstructured results are synced to Fold. For unstructured results, attached documents in supported file formats (PDF, DOC, DOCX) are retrievable on Fold.
3. By default, imaging results entered on Athena appear on the provider web (under Recent Clinical Events) and not immediately on the patient web/app.
4. The decision to send imaging results to the patient can be controlled through Athena's "Patient Access to Results" field. If marked "Do Not Send to Patient," the results will not appear on the patient side in Fold. Updates to this field in Athena will reflect on Fold.
5. Users can configure automations on Fold to trigger notifications/create tasks when an imaging result is received on Fold.
