New Sidecar Notifications: Stay Informed at a Glance

This feature provides real-time updates about new information available in the Fold Sidecar, even when it's not actively open. By delivering timely notifications about tasks, messages, and patient insights, this feature will help you manage your workflow more efficiently and ensure you never miss important updates. 

How it works: 

1)Notification Indicator:  Look for a new badge or icon on the Sidecar button in your EHR interface. This indicator shows the total number of new items across for each Sidecar section. 

2) Insights Tab Notifications:  View the number of pending alerts in the Insights section. Notifications update when alerts are resolved, snoozed, or dismissed. 

3) Messages Notifications:  See the count of unread messages across all communication types (chat, SMS, email, eFax, and missed calls). The count decreases as you read messages. 

4) Tasks Notifications:  

• For non-patient context: View notifications for tasks assigned to you. The count includes missed and pending tasks. 
• For patient context:  See notifications for internal tasks assigned to you. Member tasks are not included in the notification count.
