We're excited to introduce a new feature that allows you to create new population groups based on existing population groups. This feature allows you to build more specific subgroups from broader populations or create related groups without starting from scratch each time. It's a powerful feature for more efficient and targeted patient population management.
How It Works
1) Start creating a new population group as usual.
2) When defining the initial population, you'll now see an option to "Select Initial Population."
3) Begin typing inside the box to view a list of your previously created population groups (only dynamic population groups will display).
4) Choose the group you want to use as your starting point.
5) The system will automatically set the frequency of execution and membership status to match the selected group. These settings can't be changed for this new group.
6) Add any additional rules.
7) Name and save your new population group.
Please Note: This feature is available for both Athena and Elation users.
